Sierra Enea (she/they) is a Jersey-born,
Brooklyn-based
multidisciplinary collage artist and media professional.
As a collage artist, photography and filmmaking are central to her practice and the ways in which she explores the expansion of archive, evidence of history and notions of the present, connects with her loved ones, and serves a personal and collective spiritual well-being.
Sierra has been organizing and leading workshops across Brooklyn and Manhattan since October 2023. She began by hosting sessions from her living room and has since worked in collaboration with a number of local organizations and projects such as PTP.visions, the freefilm project x worthless studios, Tiny Arts Supply, and most recently with artist and filmmaker Prisca Edwards.
Sierra believes collage is one of the best tools to understanding energy-work, getting to know your mind’s eye, and establishing a sense of confidence in art-making. In her sessions, she leads participants through the process of using the body as a guide to intuit the collection, deconstruction, and reconstruction of archives.
In 2024, Sierra and fellow collage artist Michael Seward aka BIGFLOWERS, founded PULLP COLLAGE CONSULLATE, a collage-centric art collective based in Brooklyn. PULLP received residency at Tiny Arts Supply in May 2024 offering bi-weekly, somatic-based collage sessions and now hosts sessions at local events for the larger NY community. For all inquiries, please email: pullpcc@gmail.com.
In TV/Film, Sierra has accomplished many roles with a focus on set and post-production. Some of her favorite roles so far include Set Designer on the set of Blood is Thicker and Associate Producer for Vox.com.
