Sierra Enea (she/they) is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary collage artist, educator, and producer working across photography, film, found materials, and archives. Rooted in memory-keeping, Sierra’s practice explores the personal and collective archive as a site of healing, historical inquiry, and spiritual continuity.
She uses collage — both physical and digital — to reassemble fragments that offer insight into the subconsicous allowing her pieces to serve as a space of reflexive inquiry and self-actualization. Photography and moving image serve as core tools in her process of tracking time and preserving the histories
of her life, family, and loved ones.
Since 2023, Sierra has led community-based collage workshops across new york, beginning from her living room and expanding to collaborations with organizations like PTP.visions, the freefilm project x worthless studios, Tiny Arts Supply, and filmmaker Prisca Edwards. Sierra is also a co-founder of PULLP Collage Consullate and continues to host sessions through PULLP and independently.
In her sessions, she guides individuals through the use of the body as technology – a highly advanced source of intuitive knowledge – and emphasizes the somatic, energetic, and archival dimensions of healing through art.
